Work disorders

When the body has other priorities following a traumatic or severely stressful event, the impairments described on previous pages may be present in daily life. Such potential changes may then affect professional behavior at work. Work challenges and impediments that result from stress may last for various periods of time, but in very few cases do they persist indefinitely.
